And The Journey Begins!
Hi! My name is Kevin, welcome to my blog! I am not used to this sort of thing, but I hope to get better at it. As a kid, I would always draw and daydream about superheroes and robots. I was considered the artist in my elementary classes, and drawing was a skill that I kept up with and regularly practiced growing up. I wanted to figure out a way to make a living out of it, so when college came, I decided to pursue a career in design and continued on to earn a Bachelor’s in Industrial Design. During my time in college, I was exposed to the different branches of Art and Design, (Photography, Fine Arts, Music), and I quickly came to appreciate the time and dedication needed to master a craft. Fast forward to now, I am currently a product designer specializing in lighting fixtures for Architectural and Landscape applications.
This is a short overview of my career and experience in the Design world and will probably get into more detail in future blog posts. Granted it is still abridged, my career has just begun, and I barely have anything to show for it. I have no plans on stopping anytime soon and like anything in life, it takes time to master a craft, keep chipping away at it; eventually, you’ll make a masterpiece.
In my short time here on our beautiful planet, I have come to realize that there are many things in it, and there are many roads that you can go down. From Art to Finance, I am fascinated by the complexities of these topics. I tend to go back and forth from these topics, but the one thing that I keep going back to would have to be the world of Art and Design.
I decided to start a journey to learn as much as I can about the topics that interest me and see where the rabbit hole goes. Join me as I try to navigate the ins and outs of the things the creative world has to offer and hopefully give others insight and help them find their passion along the way. If you have any interest in Design, Art, Photography, and Technology, then I invite you to join me in exploring them. I have spent years studying these topics, and I would love to share them with you.
Thanks for joining me!
